The Rocky Mountain Garden Railroaders are a dedicated group of people whose aim is to promote our hobby and share knowledge and ideas with others. Garden railroading is fun for the whole family. It offers something for everyone whether it is collecting or running trains, gardening, model building or just sitting back with a cold drink on a hot Summer day and watching the trains go around your miniature Empire. One of the best ways of learning about large-scale garden railroading is through sharing of experience and knowledge with other enthusiasts.
Public model railway events are not everyone's cup of tea - but don't despair. There is more to 'RMGR' than running trains at shows. If you need help with getting started, assistance with maintenance, advice on modeling techniques, or helpful hints for both indoor and outdoor operations, call one of the other members. They are bound to know who has special skills or reference materials that could be useful.
