We are a small group interested in scale model live steaming. Our layout (still under construction) is located in south central Washington State on Bighorn Creek near the Columbia River. track is 7.5 inch gauge. Our goal is to build a model railroad that is realistic, environmentally friendly, and fun to ride on. Our railroad will have a steam logging theme. We plan to build and operate geared, steam locomotives primarily, but not exclusively.
We are making extensive use of recycled materials. Much of the excavation has been done by hand. We have about 1500 feet of track on the ground with plans for well over 5000 feet eventually. Three bridges have been constructed.
