Details: The Cherry Valley Model Railroad Club will be sponsoring Katy Days Show and Swap Meet on May 24-25, at the Labette Community College Multipurpose Building, located on the corner of Broadway and Heacock. Attractions will include clinics, a modeling contest, operating layouts, Katy shop tours, train excursion rides, and a swap meet with over 10,000 sq. feet of space. This show is held in conjunction with Parsons’ celebration of its railroad heritage with the MKT Railroad, or better known as the Katy. This town celebration is fun for the entire family, as well as railroad enthusiasts.
