The Rust Effect

Dripping & Pitted Rust : 1. Figure where your gash, scrape or dent may be. Remember, forklift operators will sometimes use their forks to open or close the box car door, thus creating big scrapes along the sides of the doors. 2. With a fine tip brush, apply in a downward motion from your gash, scrape or dent with your rust color. 3. Multiple passes and shade colors of rust may be needed to acheive the right result. 4. Pitted Rust or smaller marks can be the result of kids throwing rocks at a passing box car. With this thought in mind, you can simulate those effects by stippling tiny marks on the car using your fine tip brush and rust colors. You choose whether you want it to drip or not.
