Making Mountains

Date Added: 30-Mar-2006    Courtesy: Reini C.
This easy mountain can be any shape, and can have tunnels inside it too. To make it lay track on the layout at the spot of the mountain site if you want tunnels. Then use crumpled up newspaper balls to make a base. Next you need to add chicken wire from a hardware store, and bend and form it into the shape you want. For tunnells you simply cut a arch out od the wire at the entrance. Then place paper machee over the wire for a sturdy surface to place scenery. Tip To make sure the mountain is high enough run your train under the wire before adding the paper machee.
